At-Will Employment

 

If employed within the administration of In Propria Persona the relationship between you and In Propria Persona is referred to as “employment at will.”  At will means that your employment can be terminated at any time for any reason, with or without cause, with or without notice, by you or In Propria Persona Aid.  No representative of In Propria Persona Aid has authority to enter into any agreement contrary to the foregoing “employment at will” relationship. You understand that your employment is “at-will,” and that you acknowledge that no oral or written statements or representations regarding our employment can alter your “at-will,” employment status, except for a written statement signed by you and either our Executive Vice-President/Chief Operations Officer or the Company’s President.

 

 If contracted, you are not under at-will employment and will be responsible for your own signed and submitted IRS 1099 form. (https://www.irs.gov/uac/About-Form-1099 MISC), you will bond under the contractual terms with In Propria Persona Aid as a “Freelance Contractor.”  Material breaches of that contract, if not remedied within a reasonable time , will terminate the validity of your contract with In Propria Persona Aid.
